Pho' (pronounced: fAh) is a Vietnamese soup. Very good... made with beef, veggies, noodles, tripe, tendon... what have you.

Damn nice dogs that got taken... friggin' coyotes jump fences and nab the little guys... owners beware... small dogs aren't safe left alone outside even in a fenced yard.

My daughters cat is missing for the last 4 days. She has never wanted to hunt before because she loves animals so much until now, she is ready to pul the trigger on a coyote now.

They're terrorizing our small community. Across the street is a large and vast expanse of undeveloped land that would have had homes on it but economy went down the tube and they never started construction except for one long main road. At around 12-1am without fail, you can hear the howling begin...sounds like tons of them too, and then they start making their way across a street and into our neighborhood to look for scraps....whether that be garbage or your furry little friends. Once the yotes start howling, all the outside cats in the neighborhood start crying. Probably for their owners to let them back in the house before they become chow. PCH, you should probably make a few rounds here and perhaps contact the owners of that big *** piece of land and see if you can start cutting down the yote pack.

Mentioned before in another thread a while ago where a girl had her little toy dog without a leash in the community playground when a big *** coyote rushes in and snaps it up. Never saw it again...

I was talking to a buddy who does depredation about this years crop of coyotes, he's working his azz off trapping them. He said coyotes are lazy like us, why chase a dodging rabbit when they can have small dog pizza delivery every night? 6 foot fence or wall is no problem for a hungry coyote. One bite to the spine and not even a whimper from the dog is why no one knows what happened to Scruffy. Next week there will be new posters up at the local 7/11. Sometimes I see them trotting back to the orange groves on the sidewalks here in the early morning.

I see missing dog and cat posters all the time where I live. And at night the yotes walk down the middle of streets like they own them.

My MIL lives in Arcadia. The kids were over there this week and saw one in the backyard in the middle of the day! My oldest said it was big. It took off up the side yard.

I told my wife that her mother needs to get rid of the feral cats that live in her yard. That yote was simply looking for lunch.

No, I'm going to tune her up on my 10-22 and take her to one of my super secret spots.

Didn't you know PCH will eat anything.

Ive killed alot more this year than i normally do, lots of young ones and really fat. I think all the rain we had this year pumped their numbers.

That's just a snack... I'm pretty sure those things had it coming to them. No real dog gets taken by coyotes. Only those overgrown rats.

Our full sized dachshund almost got taken. If you've ever seen a real dachshund you'd know why. The Coyote couldn't lift 30 lbs over the fence. The rotty was no where to be found to save his brother. The weiner dog was okay though. The bite marks on his neck had to be drained of fluid when they filled up.

Not too sure what a real dog is, but if coyotes can take down cattle as a pack, no dog is safe.

This weeks Coyote menu.

They say coyotes are smart, I dunno. There's $500 reward money right there. Iffen I was a coyote I'd be selling these dogs back to the owners and eating for 2 weeks off that money. You could get some beer and whiskey too. :D

Sure thing. One of my buddies is already talking about making a shoulder pelt from one of them like in Gladiator.

I figured it was. I live right around the corner from that 7 Eleven. They haven't got good ol' Rufus yet. I may have to head over to Newport and help out the situation.

I don't think the coyotes are eating all the missing .People steal little dogs and the bigger one's run off and get caught by animal control.

My sisters german short hair is chipped and he was found in the dog pound by my sister looking at pound dogs on line. The pound never even tried to check for a chip they just don't care.

I have seen a few coyotes from this years litter and they look bad some have the mange.

When you see coyotes walking the block walls like they are at the snack bar it's pretty obvious what's going on. The other clue is why no larger dogs are missing in the same numbers. If people are stealing dogs they would be nabbing the expensive labs, GSPs etc. That and I hear all the time about a neighbor who saw a coyote, or coyotes, eying their dog and they ran it off. You really think those coyote left and never came back? I don't see many large dog posters around here.

Just look in the news paper or craigslist it has a bunch of lost dogs.I don't see a coyote killing a grown dog like the size of a lab one on one.Maybe a pack on one dog.

Who in the right mind will try and steal a dog the size of a lab they would get that crap bite out of them a t cup is a different story.

I am sure some of the small pets become dinner.

People should take better care of their pets, like keep them inside or in the garage at night if possible... Not trying to disrespect pet owners, just sayin that's what I used to do. I feel the sadness of the ones that have lost their pets.
