RESULT ON POST #22

Ok, i'm in the market for M&P 10-round mags...

Well, I see this auction on gunbroker....
Result on post

Please, for users of gunbroker, please tell me that the item/s being sold at the link provided, is being sold AS A PACKAGE, and not PER MAG

After some quick reading on gunbroker FAQs, only a "dutch auction" is used to sell more than one of the same item, therefore you place a bid, and the number of items you wish to bid on...

Well the auction that I won, did not have that option to choose how many to bid on...

Now it worries me, did I win 4 lightly used M&P mags for $20???? I mean thats a STEAL! I will contact the seller tomorrow to be sure....please tell me I won all 4 for $20

I read it over twice. Ad states X4. No designation for each. No listing as each or dutch.
Seller only has 7 feedback. He may have made a mistake. Contact him and ask before sending payment. The way I read it, you bought 4 mags for 1 price. Good luck.

That is what it looks like to me. Maybe he is in another state and though no pen would want a 10 rd mag when high caps are available

I always ask questions first. Once a seller was a total dick just because I asked questions. That was great to know before hand, for obvious reasons.

In this case it says towards the top the quantity is 1, but I think it is for one group of four magazines and would approach it from that perspective and, at the worst, demand to be let out of it if he thinks he only has to send you one.

Good luck.

I see cheaperthandirt is selling new M&P .40 S&W 10rd mags for $32.65 before shipping.

This kind of raises some doubts in my mind. Send an email to the seller first and get clarification that it is for 4 mags before you send your payment.

Any normal person would read and interpret the auction as an auction for 4 mags, but you never know...

by my interpretation of the auction, you won 1 quantity of 4 magazines; meaning you won all four magazines for the price of your winning bid.

i have bought many magazines from gunbroker and have no complaints.

"4 x 10 round magazines", I would think means 4 magazines.

Im just making sure that I didnt mis-read it, cuz in the last hour before the auction ended I thought to myself that there is no way its that cheap, has to be PER mag...But glad everyone sees it the same as me

I meant ask the SELLER before the auction ends.

Oh I knew that much already, but I was afraid of the possibility of him changing the ad before I or anyone bid (not too familiar with gunbroker if it is even possible to edit the listing after being made).

So I figured, heck, if its too good to be true, then $20 for a like new mag (if only 1 mag) isnt a bad deal

On GB, the quantity is always "1" unless it's a Dutch Auction.

Based on the questions I've received when I've listed two or more items per ad on GB, I'd say the "Quantity 1" description can be confusing.

To avoid confusion, I would have worded that ad as follows —"You are bidding on four (4) 10 round magazines….".

Congratulations, it's always a great feeling to get a deal on an auction. ;)
