I bought it because it was dirt cheap seller through in 1600 rounds, so why not.
I took it to the range sunday and I had to take off my wedding ring (lefty) because it recoiled like a 45.
These pistols sell for around $200 and are accurate and fun to shoot with about .10 a round corrosive just clean it after shooting.
I bought another 1000 rd and now I want another pistol.

Any suggestions on type?

Another 7.62X25? Get a Tokarev, several are currently available. I bought a Yugo M57 and I like it better than any other Tok -- just be aware that extra mags are currently non-existent.

They really are pretty cool, I think I've got 4 of them....

Ammo is not swore as cheap as it once was, but it's still ok

Those bullets go fast don't they?

Read the parts about dry firing and the decocker:

Thanks for the heads up on the decocker and dry fire.
The first safety check I did was decock down range several times to test the replaced firing pin. I assume that dry firing is only bad with the original weak firing pin.
I've never fired a pistol that was single action only.
