C&R? i think this is considered an antique, not even a firearm, i may be wrong though but i know the law states something about firearms madebefore 1900 being special

Is that what a life-time supply of Licorice cost these days. When I bought mine it was only $500,000

Considering that the Luger .45(only two left in the world, and one available for private ownership) went for about half a million, and colt navy went for a bit more, I doubt this is worth more than either two. Perhaps half a mil would be market price.

For that much money, I would buy huge property out in BF Egypt, and open up a shooting range for all of you to shoot for free! For the 1k yard range, I would purchase H1's with full auto .50 cal's, so we can shoot broken down POS Ferrari's that are full of Tanarite on our way down range. In the Lounge area, there would be a strip bar with topless dancers.... and maybe a Ladies area with Male dancers? Hey, there are women shooters too:D

I would call " Shoot & See Range Inc."
If anybody takes my ideal, send me 1.5M US. for my ideal.:D

Meh. It's a personal choice, but I don't care for vintage tech--it's so so, well old and usually under-performs, breaks, the materials degrade, and they are difficult to maintain. I don't favor old cars, radios, stereos, bicycles, houses, and tools (which firearms are as well as computers). That if you use them. Otherwise, I don't run a museum--why own a firearm I don't use? Some non-tools such as Wine, spirits, and cigars age well. But again, I don't age them to look at but eventually to use. Japanese Samurai swords are an exception--they cannot make them as well these days. But I don't use swords. Few things else age well.

I think some people like it because it makes them regain the immortality they felt in youth and have lost--it's a nice self-deception we hold in youth that is eventually dispelled with finality.

This gun is not to shoot. I'm looking at one of our china cabinets with all the cut glass and pretty things. never used, just reflects light.
There are not many guns I would buy just to reflect light.
