View Full Version : Magpul PRS ?'s

Hey Guys. I'm looking at getting a magpul prs for a custom built rifle, but I have a couple of questions. What are your guys' opinions on them, what are the differences between the AR15 version and the AR10 version, is there a weight difference, and finally who has the best prices on them. Thanks for any help.

There is a difference between the AR-15 vs AR-10 models.

The cheek weld is designed differently to accomodate for the longer charging handle on the AR-10.

If you are building an AR-10 then you need the one labeled AR-10/SR-25 model. However both use the same A2 buffer tube.

I have both PRS models and I love them but only recommend it for a prone/bench shooting rig. They are very heavy I think about 1.85 lbs.

I will PM you the price.

I love mine, but it is heavy. It's on my AR 308 and it's strictly for shooting prone or off a bench. Everything LasVegasTaxMan said is correct.

I agree with everyone, The PRS is great but heavy. I think NorcalIndustries has the best price, Search the members list and you will find him. Around $220 shipped
