Hi does any one here own a Ohio Ordnance BAR 1918A3? If so what is the quality and I see that they have 10rd Mags for California, are these MAGS 10/20. Are they 20 rounders blocked to 10 rds? Any way I want to get one of these BAR'S just asking if any one on this forum has one and do they like it? Is it worth the $3,500-$3,800 Dollars. Please let me know. Thanks Ripper:):)

I just picked mine up last night and shot it today. Very accurate out to 300 yds using HXP '73 ball ammo. Heavy trigger pull, but usable off the bipod, very hard to shoot off hand due to the heavy trigger. I don't think my trigger pull gauge goes high enough to measure this one. No malfunctions, but chews up brass. Very fun to shoot, very well made, sights perfectly regulated for windage. Shoots to different POI off bags than with the bipod. Elevation marks on rear sight closer to actual range when using the bipod.

Didn't shoot at paper, but my impression is that this is a 1-2 moa gun with the HXP ammo. Can't wait to shoot it at 500m ram silhouettes.

I have a couple of them. The Ca mags are 10/20. I think they are well worth the $3600.00 as they only made about 400,000 compared to millions for the M1 Garands.
Sure they are heavy but they have a lot of punch when they hit something. Fun, fun, fun. A true collectors item.

I called to order one back in febuary, but they said there forklift ws broken and they were barried in thr wharehouse. I havenot gotten a call back although I left all my info and called them back myself in May and April. I have 11 guns including a barrett 416, I was looking forward to adding this to my collection. Others seem to have fallen in its ploace since then.
