View Full Version : Impending 2nd Amendment Incorporation & Shooting Range Leases

With the "Good News" hopefully being just around the corner later this month; could this in a positive way, effect the shooting ranges that are under scrutiny, for well, simply being shooting ranges that exist in unfriendly to gun ownership fearing cities?
Leases expire, new city council members replace the friendly ones, neighborhoods develop nearby, lead free or not permitted, etc.
Will communities still be allowed to further restrict public training and practice areas and to what degree?

Just wondering...

Unfortunately zoning issues have always been 'picky'.

There are zoning rules to prevent too many chain restaurants in neighborhoods, too many garages or car dealerships, etc.

The other problem is that 'cover issues' can come up to try to make it non-gun.

Even with a fully-incorporated RKBA and a free-for-all on guns, these shooting range matters (location, noise, perceived lead issues, perceived 'safety' issues) will still need to be fought.
