Unfortunately all fixed blades are illegal to carry concealed in CA, regardless of size. According to CA state law you can open carry any sized fixed blade (unless local laws prohibit it).

i thought it was something like 2.5 in in was okay or something like that

The only knives that are concealable are folders.

I'd steer clear of that company. They royally screwed over a bunch of very well respected knife makers (the ones who were doing the custom HAKs). If you want more info, run a search on the badlands forum. Cool concept, but the company is run by thieves...
