I'm headed up there for the first time tomorrow with family. Is there a good amount of Bass or Trout? What's out there?

Bass, crappie, carp, and bluegill. I always had good luck running a weighted green worm along the bottom for bass in about 3-5 ft of water. Good luck!

Niiiiiice. I'm comming from San Francisco, how's the ride out towards the lake? Do I need a 4x4 or take my baby girl out for a cruise? (1996 Impala SS)

one of the top 5 bass lakes in the usa my favorite place to fish so far hit up one of the local tackle shops for the 411 and hot spots but fishing is usually really good this time of year for bass catfish and crappie good luck

Beautiful there.
Be careful driving there / don't speed...the local cops hide in the bushes at the entrances to town with radar guns.

yup...people are consistently pulling 5+ pound bass out of that lake. It's definitely one of the best bass lakes in the country. Not quite sure if it makes the top 5, but it's up there for sure!

I always see Clear Lake on the WFN channel. Lots of tournaments out there that produce lots of killer bass. Clear Lake and the Delta are probably the two most famous bass spots in the state.

Just this morning that Garrett Edwards dude was pulling out 2-4 pounders on his show using texas rigged green pumpkin creature baits. The water's pretty murky so use darker color plastics or loud crankbaits.

Well folks I'm out to Clear Lake in an hour.. Last question.. Does AT&T have reception out there?? I'm on a little weekend getaway but I still need emails and calls from workers who don't know what to do..
