without emptying my wallet.....

I'm looking for a good padlock I can use that cant be picked/cut/drilled easy. I will need 2 for my pelican case im going to buy.

I want good ones for the air port and for my hotel room when I lock it up in the case.

These are probably one of the best padlocks on the market.

I use there other locks for my house doors. Locks cannot be picked, drilled or bumped.

What good is the padlock going to do when somebody can just pick up and walk off with your Pelican case?? Padlocks only keep honest people honest.

Agreed, a propane torch will make quick work of a plastic case:eek:

Good point

there was this one time i was working for a guy who had a cargo container outside and he had a couple of the strongest locks money could buy

he put one on each door i even warned him to put them both on the same door but he liked locking both cause he thought it looked more secure(i swear this kind of brain is the same as the oll legal deniers )

well if anybody knows cargo containers the left door closes first and then the right overlaps and seals both

well someone just came a long and cut the little thin metal hasp that holds the door lever down they went through on the right door got in and messed with the stuff

he didnt even have to mess with the left lock and door and the right lock was untouched

next time put both locks on the right door

Yeah if you are bringing a handgun into a hotel room, utilize those safes most hotels have.

Well if your looking for a practically bulletproof lock I picked up a brinks lock for a few bucks. After my friend informed me that they're pretty tough I decided to shoot the holy hell out of it with my 1911. Still worked just a little deformed and bent. Just better hope they don't shoot that loop part, that didn't hold up very long at all (one shot maybe).

This one is recommended by Deviant Ollam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGjddG5Owsc) for flying with firearms.

Ask a locksmith for his/her recommendation. Who better would know the strengths and weaknesses of any particular padlock?

What difference does the lock make on a plastic case...somehow logic seems to fail here;)
