Another dog called in by PCH.
It was a great shot by JABELL at a running dog. TexasAggie was with us this morning as well.
It was close to 7am and 76 degrees wind holding steady around 10-15mph.The dog was spotted within the first 30 seconds of the first call at about 200yds and closing in fast. The wind was perfect at our face and we were well hidden on the side of a draw in the shade. TA was the first to see the pup and lined up for the first shot but he took a shot too soon at a running coyote coming dead in at him which is very difficult shot even by us pros. It was a clean miss. It was JABELL up for the next shot. The coyote was about 150-160 yards and running parrallel to us. When bam another clean miss. The dog was now at a full run when JABELL took his second shot and BINGO right in the boiler room the dog tumbled in my scope and I knew it was a clean kill. It was called out by me "DOG DOWN". All in all it was a great day we seen a few jacks and sasquatch for anyone reading it this far but was the only coyote today. He is a smaller pup but I dont feel bad since he was taken next to a ranchers property.
Thanks for reading.
