Jeez.... people filling out that survey aren't even reading the question... PREDATOR rifle... not mall-ninja special.

While "no accessories" is in the lead, they also want full rails, FH instead of a comp, everyone wants 5.56, in black, with a fluted 18-20" barrel, and 20rd mags!

i would want something like YHM or Viking Tac front grip so you can add rails as you would want. i voted 20" barrel minimum. in 6.5grendel. figure if we cant get 1 big MFG to start a production rifle maybe make it more accesible to everyone.

Why a FH instead of a MB and 556 instead of 223 on a predator rifle? You want accuracy right 223 chamber will give you more over a 556.

Who needs a full rail? Optics, maybe BUIS and a bipod...... What else is needed?

Exactly.

Ruger asks "What do you want in a Predator Rifle", and everyone reads it "What do you want to see in the next SR556?"

Overly stupid that the majority of answers are already available on the current SR556 outside of the barrel length... at least they asked for 18-20".

Sure; why not. I mean, as long as we're just dreaming...

If Ruger is posting a public poll, it's not just dreaming... it's marketing research for a new variant on the SR556.

Bunch of mall ninjas asking for every gadget in the inventory on a gun that weighs 3 pounds is going to result in Ruger either shelving the idea as impractical... or building a rifle that nobody will buy.
