View Full Version : Anyone heading to Chabot for some IPSC on Saturday?
Thought it would be about time to get out there and shoot my first IPSC match in the US (and my first match in nearly two years).
Anyone else going?

I'll be "next door" at the 200 yard range. Last practice match before "The Big One" next week.
I should be easy to spot, since I think I'll be the only one wearing a blue sweater with 'SWEDEN' printed in yellow on the back :)

And why weren't you out at Richmond last week? :D
It was actually sunny and warm and we had... 52 shooters.. Oddly enough, we were done by 2:30.
Next IPSC match is April 1st. Although if you shoot 6 gun, we have an ICORE match on Sunday :) (Shameless plug).

I plan on being out there. Gives me another chance to humiliate myself again.

"Unfortunately" the Sierras got a bunch of snow last weekend, so I was up there. Going this Sunday as well, but since the match is on Saturday this week, I'll make it to the match :)
The Glock just had new grip tape applied and I put my rig together, so I'm good to go! Well, almost anyway.. forgot I only had three mag holders, so I have to get a few more tomorrow. 4 x 18 rounds have always been enough for me in Europe where stages (per IPSC rules) can't have more than 32 rounds. Silly California.
And of course I had to buy a new holster since my IPSC legal Production holster isn't legal in USPSA... Silly USPSA
Got my USPSA membership package today as well, so I'll have time to brush up on the rule differences between USPSA and IPSC :)
Hmm, just remembered that I need to adjust the sight on the Glock as well, since I had to switch back to the factory adjustable sight to get it through customs.
Maybe I'm not really that good to go after all... Well, I'm sure I'll have a great time anyway!
Production power!
So... I've returned to IPSC :)
Almost forgot how much fun it was, even with the rain and mud!
I'll be back :D
btw, nice to meet you aznglocker! Something tells me we will meet again...

I might have met you if your were the gentleman who kicked everyone's butt in production class. Is this Hiendrick?
I offered you a towel after you went prone and shot the 50 yard targets like they were right in front of you.....all hits - no mikes - WOW!
Welcome. I hope we can meet again at a match.
Jerry Snyder - The guy who didn't shoot so well today....

Nice meeting you and see you next time...

It's up in the Bay Area, in the Oakland Hills. It should only take you about 5-6 hours!
