Who did the work on this pistol?

I did the work on the pistol with supervision and guidance from a former Marine gunsmith/shooting instructor who now works for the Secret Service. I know everyone is expecting Yost, C&S or Novak but this is not as pricy as those custom guns. However, I am proud of the work done on the gun and can go over every aspect of the gun to ensure your satisfaction. If you like, you can even test fire the gun before the PPT.
The parts alone are about $300 and the gun is new with the exception of the 15 rounds I used to make sure the gun functions the way I want it to.

Just met this guy, stand-up person, very forthcoming and answered all my questions - extensively.
I've seen and fired this pistol - four shots in pretty much one-ragged hole at 21 feet offhand - cold...just picked it up and fired. (using my own Federal Wal-mart ammo)
Factory sights are white, 3-posts (I prefer Novaks) but offer a good sight picture and reference.
Trigger was also very nice, crisp let-off, safety and internals cleanly fitted, very nice polishing on the trigger lever and hammer/sear interface.
Finish is excellent, zero wear, even on the frame rails, doubtful if even 50 rounds have been fired through this gun.
Very accurate exactly how it is.
I've got 4 Hi-Powers, all with Novak Lo Mount sights (excellent by any standard), and customized right out of the box. After shooting this pistol, and with such a clean finish, I probably wouldn't change the sights, or anything that would require a refinish (Front and rear backstraps on mine all have stippling or hand-matting) - unless, of course, you want a true high-end custom pistol.:D (and are willing to pay the price )
This is an excellent semi-custom gun with high quality enhancement parts, a very nice trigger pull, and would make an excellent combat pistol as is - without the extra 1.5k+ in high quality parts (already has) and custom work.
Serious pistol worthy of serious consideration...
..may just go for it if it's still available after completing a current project.

So, the XDm is allowed in california? I though on the regular XDs were?
I was also curious if the xd magazine can be used in the XDm?
