*SOLD*

Hey guys, I am selling my almost brand new Styer M40-A1 pistol, it has 50 rounds through the barrel and shoots like a dream. These are no longer on the list and impossible to find/import. It comes with its original case, 2 mags and all papers just like it came from the factory. The finish on the pistol is 99.999% Only reason I am selling is because I need money for bills since I am still out of work.

$600 cash or postal money order, you can also pay with a credit card through paypal +3.5% on the day of the transfer. Will ship at cost, but your receiving FFL must accept from individual.

Can post pics if needed.

EDIT: ask anyone who owns one of these how well they shoot, this is everything a Glock pistol wishes it was, but isnt. Oh and it has a supported chamber unlike you know who, which is a big + for reloaders.

Pics & location? I have a 1st generation M40 and it's much nicer to shoot and handle than a Glock 22/23.

Model Gun Type Barrel Length Caliber Exp Date
S-A1 Pistol 3.6" .40 S&W 2/8/2011
M357-A1 Pistol 4" .357 SIG 1/24/2011
M40-A1 Pistol 4" .40 S&W 1/24/2011
M9-A1 Pistol 4" 9mm 1/24/2011

If it is the M40 and NOT the M40-A1, then it is not on the list and has to be a PPT. But it is the M40-A1, so it is good to go for a dealer to dealer transfer, correct?

M40-A1 is on the list and good to go.
Ship at will and make someone really happy.
Bump for the best poly pistol you've never heard of.

Mike

Thanks for the correction guys, I thought these were off list also. So shipping at cost is an option for this pistol. I will edit the OP with pics in a few minutes.

-Edited- Not going to argue the point here

Anyone who is interested, you will NOT be disappointed with the M40. It is an outstanding firearm and worth the money.

To the OP. GL with your sale, I can't part with mine.

According to the manufacturer, the M40A1 has a fully supported chamber. Im just quoting what Steyr is claiming. I am in no way trying to lie to people to sell my pistol.

That aside, I never thought I would part with mine either, but family and bills come before guns. I dont blame you one bit for not wanting to part with yours.

EDIT: here is a link to wiki who also states that this pistol has a fully supported chamber. And here is a link to the page so you can read all about this pistol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steyr_M

While the Steyr M is frequently compared to Glock-series pistols (both are polymer-framed striker-fired pistols, with Tenifer finishes), there are several differences in the details of the design. For example, the M-series has a fully supported chamber in all chamberings, unique triangular/trapezoid sights, a loaded chamber indicator below the rear sights (on third and later generation Glock pistols this feature is present in a different location) and a different grip angle (111).

OP gets a free bump from another fellow Steyr M40-A1 owner. The low bore axis makes shooting .40 like a 9mm. Also note the gun has a nice steel subframe that can be easily removed and cleaned. Once this part is separated, you can toss the polymer frame in the dishwasher.

Shoots very accurate.

I'm a bit surprised by how many Steyr owners there are here. Guess people on these forums have good taste!

I already have an M40A1, and I love mine.

Good luck with the sale for an awesome pistol.
