I have a Para Ord Nitehawg for sale! This is a great little 1911 pistol. I just bought it about 2 months ago, but I like my full size SA 1911 more. Even though its a compact, the little recoil is very surpricing! This gun has 260 round threw it. I would like to keep it but I just fell in love with a Sig P229 in .40S&W. Here are some details and the extras:

PPT are not bound to the 1 in 30 rule. Been told by other members and confirmed at a local FFL dealer. Other members please correct me if I am wrong

Not true for certain cities. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I read that Los Angeles does not exempt PPT's from it's "1 every 30 days" law.

PPT is unlimited. I have done two pistols a month many times.

this about sums up the purchasing side of things
no it does state that. It says that you can't purchase/transfer more than one handgun from a dealer in a 30-day period, with certain exceptions. Those would include private-party transfer and collectors with C&R+COE. So, you could buy 12 handguns from a dealer per year without using any exceptions at all.
and this nicely explains the selling side of PPTs
that makes sense. Its CA law, and they say less than six handgun sales transactions per year.
I believe cyclenut is correct about the LA county once a month restriction including PPTs, but I'm by no means an authority on the subject. I'm sure librarian or ke6guj will show up eventually to set the record straight :D

you can ppt as many as you want within the month. Try to string together a few pistol purchases so you dont have to buy as many locks. Free bump

How old is the gun? The reason I an asking is that the Trijicon night sights last 12 years...

I just checked the sights and they are marked "09", so they are no older then a year.

My friend has one of these. I shoot it about once a month.
I usually shoot my Kimber 1911, so I was preparing for a forehead bumping recoil from this little gun, and it really wasn't that bad. So much fun and so little. If I was in the area I would buy it. Bump for a fun gun.
