Why are you reading this? After all it does say nevermind.

Since you are here anyway. What happened was that I listed an M14 bayonet for sale under the heading of having an M16 bayonet. Shows what I know huh.

Anyway, later this week I'll have an M16 and the M14 bayonet and I'll post a new ad and put them both up for sale. I'll use some catchy title like. "M14 and M 16 bayonets for sale." So if you want either one the ad should be up by Friday.

The M6 bayonet is for the M14 rifle. Are you certain that the one you have is for the M16?

The most obvious difference between the M6 and M7 (the M16 version) is that the M6 has a "trigger" like release behind the guard, while the M7 has a pinch type release on the pommel.

It has the trigger type release. A friend is coming over later so pictures can be posted. Then those of you that know can tell me what it is.

If it has the trigger, and is marked M6 it's one of these:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M6_bayonet

It is for the M14 or an M1A with bayonet lug
