I just received my upper, bcg, and charging handle from BCM:

16in. mid-length upper

bolt carrier group

charging handle
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-GUNFIGHTER-Charging-Handle-GFH-Mod-4-p/bcm%20gfh%20mod%204%20556.htm

My question is, they seem to be all "assembled" already! It seems to me that all I have to do is "drop in" the bcg and insert the charging handle, and I can snap the upper to my lower and finish my first AR! The front sight, and barrel, they're all together in one piece when I took it out of the box.

Have they been pre-assembled or am I missing something?

Install the BCG and CH, snap the upper on your complete lower and you are G2G.

Okay, that's great news, I guess. I was preparing to do battle and "assemble" the upper myself. Didn't look easy from the youtube vids.

I also ordered the DD Omega 9 rail:

Do I put the upper together first and then install the rail or do I install the rail and then put the upper together?

Also, the rail came with 3 pieces of semi-rubber covers that fit the rails. I suppose they should cover up the rail so it's easier to hold? But how can mount any accessories to the rail if these rubber pads are covering the rails?
