Why is there the different part on each of these grips? One has the fin looking piece while the other does not

Those are just examples. I am going to buy a grip with a palm shelf for my Stag Model 6L.

I haven't taken the rifle home yet, but the picture seems to have the second posted style of grip. So I am just wondering what kind I should get with a palm shelf. What is the difference in the connecting part to the lower reciever or are they the same I guess is my biggest concern

Thanks for the help fellas

Your 6L has a rubberized Hogue grip.

If you want the palm rest just get the Ergo grip w/ palm shelf. It connects the same way, just also has an adjustable palm shelf.

Do most attach the same?

They just attach using a screw. They all attach the same way.

The beaver on the grip is just for added comfort in the web area between your thumb and trigger finger. Instead of the aluminum part of the receiver if you have an extremely high grip hold
