I'm in riverside and Well... I just got promoted at work and i treated myself to a treat . But the promotion changed my days off. I've had Sunday and Monday for the past 6 years. Now I have Thu and Fri... NOONE I know of shares my days off. Anyone have anything to do or the same days? I have guns and a dirtbike. That's probally enty to keep busy with but I hate to go by myself. Looking for a place to try my new accessories out ( yhm comp, timney 4lb, vltor mod stock, xps-2, pmag10/30's) I know this may be in the wrong section but I couldn't post in the ie forum. Pm me.

when your retired you never have a day off....

I wish I had weekdays off. For my previous job, I worked everyday except for Monday and Friday. I loved it. The local ranges here are only open Friday-Monday and I hate going on the weekend because it's crowded. So I had a lot of time to go to the range without the crowd. Now that I have a normal Mon-Fri work shift, it seems like I can't ever get anything done on my days off because everyone else is off too.

Sure, my job lets me get any day off...and I get paid for it. I'll meet you in East TX.

I have those days off and usually make it over to Burro Canyon once a week for some target shooting.

I used to have Thurs-Fri off until last week. Angeles Range has 1/2 price range fee on Thurs....just make sure to get there early if you want to use the Rifle range, it's LEO only after 1pm. Best range in SoCal for me.

How does this relate to centerfire rifles? Maybe this should be moved to OT?

Find someone to go mountain biking with, and bring your rifles then bike to a good spot to shoot, and practice shooting while your blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing rates are out of control and your muscles are fatigued. It's fun to exercise outdoors and everyone can benefit from learning to control/recover shots while in a "fight or flight" state. I don't know the La Puente area, but I'm sure there are some bike trails leading out of town and there's bound to be some nice shooting spots out there.

I usually have Thursdays off. Been on lock down lately as my wife and I had our first baby a few weeks ago. Once things get back to normal, you could always go shooting at West End with me sometime.

Days off . . . what a novel idea . . . a shame I only get 2 a year.

I'm always free now! Just E.A.S.'d out of the military, and moved back to California earlier this year and I haven't shot my .30-.06 yet. I'm looking to go shooting! But I still don't have a scope on it yet...:(
