I've seen deals with asking price more than what Grant sold them new.

Is it a collectible item nowadays ? Will Grant run another production batch ?

You want collectible? How about the Monsterman FAL grip?

I can make my own collectible Giantman grip from Kydex sheets. :D

A product is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. Supply vs. demand.
I once paid $75 for a CD, and was happy about it.

Greeat stock. I have 2, one on my HD rifle and one on my 3 gun set up. I really feel for a detachable mag set up, this is the only way to go.

well, if anyone's looking for this rare piece, there's one up in the private accessories section right now (not my sale):

it's even more rare because it is new and has never been mounted!

I like Grant's ingenuity, but I guess the U-15 is not the only thing for featureless. If it becomes collectible, it must be for the novelty.

I don't see how limited supply + demand for featureless AR builds = collectible

just means rare

Shamelessly derailing the thread here, but what are/were the U-15s made of? Wood or metal or polyplasticmer?

They were made of plastic/polymer - and I suppose they could one day be collectible if someone decides to setup the "Museum of California's Stupid Gun Laws Stuff" and stock it will bullet buttons, grip wraps and other arcane (yet innovative and necessary right now!) devices.

For a time, the U-15 was the only game in town. Now you have the choice of Exile Machine's Hammerhead in polymer OR Aluminum. Nice piece of kit there as well...

If the Californians, one day, win back their rights, there would be nice to have a museum to remind of the "Dark days". ;)
