I saw someone mention today at THG:
http://www.utccw.com/

I also know of the following that offer online courses:
http://www.onlyhitscount.com/index.html
http://www.getaccw.com

Anybody else know of any other? We sure do have some options now.

Me, I took a traditional class --- William Desy's afternoon course in San Diego. Here's his site, although it's not online: http://www.ccwusa.com/

Has anyone taken the online Utah CCW class?

I'm going on a trip through UT, ID, MT, and into ND this summer, and it'd be nice to have.

You can't be serious:mad:

With questions like "which is the safest direction to point a firearm?" and answer choices like "D. North" ... I don't see why not! :D

Awesome! What a great timesaver, it's the classroom TIME that is my biggest barrier. Already have FL, going to get UT now!

I'm going to a class up in Sac'to soon. After looking at the options, it seems more laborsome and possibly more expensive to do the on-line courses than just to go to one of the sessions that they are setting up here in the board.

Course, you have to be able to get there, which is another thing.

I have corresponded with Jim Amentler, who is on this board, several times concerning the CCW course and he has been very helpful and quick to respond, and I would much rather pay someone like that, who I feel like I know, than just ship money off to places unkown.

+1 for profire.

Colorado based instructor and they are really nice people to work with. I recommanded my friend to get their UT CCW there.

say HI to Bob for us! :D

Jim is a great guy and he's an excellent instructor. I would recommend his services over any online course without second thought.
