I am attempting to assemble my C-93 and I can not get the lower fire control group to fit up flush with the rest of the rifle. The back push pin whole does not line up exactly. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong, other than its a Century...

So the fire control group won't line up with safety hole? When I first disassembled my fcg, had same issue. You have to press the fcg flush into the trigger frame. Insert safety selector with selector arrow at 12o clock position. You may need nudge the fcg to get alignment right with the safety selector.

Figured out what was wrong. The entire pistol grip FCG would not fit into the rifle. I needed to hook the entire unit in before pushing it forward to seat. Once this was done I was able to slide in the locking pin. Thanks for the advice on the FCG itself, as I had no idea how to take that apart until now.

Century quality at its best! My rear pin needed a mallet to get it in when I first got it. After some polishing of the sleeve pin hole, no tools needed. Don't be dismayed if this first time with a rifle. Mine needed about 20 rounds before it ran 100%. Happy shooting.

Are these accurate rifles?

I wish I shot accurate enough for it to make a difference. It does look like a mini STG-44.

It's battle accurate. I have trijicon mini red dot with hensoldt panzerfaust range finder. Shooting wolf, have no problems hitting a soda cans at 50 yards while resting the magazine bottom on a bench. Only gripe is the no last shot bolt open. I read that the german army would place a tracer in 5th to last round.

I like mine, hitting a 12" steel plate at 100yards was too easy. ate everything I fed it. Surprisingly light recoil. Looks like an STG44 once I got a slim hand guard and wood stock on it.
