Are the LWRC REPR Mags proprietary? If not, what other magazines will work with a REPR Rifle?

Thanks,

DPMS/SR-25 type mags. Made by: DPMS, POF, Magpul (although they have issues with the REPR due to receiver specs), and perhaps C-products?

If you have a REPR that was produced after the receiver fix, it will work with any DPMS-pattern mag including the LR20 PMAG

Thanks, it's a brand new REPR so I'm assuming it has the receiver fix. I'll test it out with a DPMS mag that I have here in the shop.

I confirmed DPMS mags are good, thanks!

The Magpul LR-20's are sweet! Only reason I would get a AR-10 is so I could make up a couple of 10/20's :D

Here is the official thread on this topic: http://forum.lwrci.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6205

To break it down, LWRC designed the mag well around the C Products SR25 magazine and then C Products slightly changed the mag design and now it is having issues with those mags. They also want it to work well with the Magpul LR20 mags and have made machine changes so that current production REPRs will not have a problem with the PMags. If you have an early production REPR that does not work well with the PMags, you can send the firearm in to them for a modification so that it will work well with the PMags.
