Hi all

I just installed a Raddlock bullet button on my AR15. A unloaded magazine will lock in correctly, but with a full loaded magazine it wont snap into place and lock correctly.

I have to really push the magazine in for it to lock into place.

What can I do to fix this?

load 1 or 2 less rounds. this is normal since a lot of 10rd magazines are tight when fully loaded, this is to make sure no one can load an 11th round. This makes a full magazine without enough play in it to compress the spring when the bolt is closed.

Lock the bolt back and you will see its easy to slap in. It only gets hard to do when the bolt is closed.

Don't worry about "hurting" the rifle, just slam that full magazine in hard.

sounds like your loading it on a closed bolt. my pmags will load on a close bolt but even then i have to smack it pretty hard

try it with an open bolt

1) download the mag

2) SNAP IT IN LIKE A MAN.... it is a tool, and it loves to be handled roughly  (you don't baby your hammer, right?P)

Lock bolt to the rear, use bolt release to chamber.

I have the same problem with my 10/30's, they won't lock in. 10 rounders lock in right away but the 10/30's I have to lock the bolt back then release.

You have all heard "Lock and load", right?

That's lock the bolt back, and load magazine (clip for Garands).
