The nation wide AWB enacted from 1994 and was expired at 2004. When did CA AWB enact and when will it expire? or will it expire without a successful repeal?

Search didn't come out the specific answer. Thanks.

Unlike the federal assault weapon ban, there is no expiration date for the California ban.

That was the first CA assault weapon ban that only banned certain makes and models.

The "characteristics" ban in CA went into effect on Jan 1. 2000 and has no expiration.

Most laws don't have sunset clauses. In my opinion they should, but they don't.

Sorrid grammar.

Was it standard? No. Was it understandable? Yes.

I apologize ahead, when I'm tire/sleepy, my 3rd world English will sneak out.

You're very welcome.

By the way, Geo- when calling someone out on their grammar, it helps to spell "sordid" correctly. ;)
