Has anyone heard if they are going to make a 17 mach 2, or a 17 HMR upper?

Too bad about this:

Cannot be shipped to addresses in California, Connecticut and New York City (NY).

The 1/2 pint belt feds from lakeside guns look like fun.

Thank you guys! That belt system is sweet too bad its not legal in CA.

well......actually it is, so long as you get them to keep the 100 round belt there, and ship disintegrating links instead of the belt.

So i can ship it to my Family in Mi. And then have them ship me just the legal parts. Sounds like a plan to me...

So i can use the links, but only limit them to 10 rounds is this correct.

How would they classify that lakeside Gatling since it is hand cranked?

its not even considered a magazine fed firearm IIRC.

i'm confused as to why this is restricted to CA. it has to be a company policy cuz i can go buy a pre-ban 223 upper assembly online from anywhere. does anyone know the reasoning of this restriction? i've emailed cheaper than dirt for specifics.

At any rate, Olyarms.com also has it but it's more expensive.

"Cause CTD is LAME! They won't ship airsofts, fixed blade knives over a certain length, nightvision, etc. to CA.

just got an email from cheaperthandirt regarding this item and why they can't ship to CA. they tried to feed me a crock of bull pucky. they said it was becuase the mag adapter help 11 rounds. 11 of course being one over the 10 limit in CA. The funny thing is, you check the gun out at olyarms and specifically states a 10rd mag adapter.

i have to assume that they are the same guns. I haven't read anything about others doing what olyarms is diong with the sleeve systems. At any rate, CTD sucks. i no longer shop there.

got an upate, not that anyone really cares about these things. at this point, it's not about the upper rather it's about the fact that Cheaper Than Dirt is retarded as Jay said...

got a second email from CTD where the lady said, "i'm sorry, it turns out that the mag is 10 rds but the upper has a flash suppressor". implying that they can't sell a 22/17 conversion upper becuase it had a flash supressor (haha). i responded appropriately. i told them thank you and good bye.

it seems that there isn't a huge demand for these things from reading posts here at caguns.net. but i ordered mine from olyarms.com and i'll do a report once i shoot it (with pics and vids). what i really look forward to is walking into an indoor range with an AR15 look alike (rimfire) and getting to shoot it without dedicating an entire afternoon to drive somewhere.

thanks for reading.
