My buddy might be forced to move back to SoCal from Dallas because his company wants to "consolidate" their workforce.

He's asking me which purchases he should make before moving back.

The only thing that I could think of was to buy a bunch of Wilson frames. If he didn't want them, he could always PPT them to me or others.

Are there any non-Roster items that he should get?

If he got stripped lowers that are 4473'd as "other", and they remain stripped, could he eventually build them into pistols?

Any quality 1911 receiver would be a good investment - single stack or high-cap.

HK45's.

Yes.

My answers in bold.

Eh.....I had a line on one and turned it down. Now if they made a frame for the 45 or 10MM i'd be game.

NDS pistol receivers and AR pistol receivers.

Sig P226 classic 22 pistols. You have a sale on two of them if you bring them across.

I regret not having purchased some Caspian competition frames for builds. Similarly some of the classics which do not yet qualify as C&R.....i know i wish i could get my hands on a Sphinx 3000 9mm competition or a Mateba revolver or even a Walther P5 compact...or some of the old Sigs like the 240 for example.

I would think that an individual could very easily sell any stripped pistol marked AR lowers that they no longer had a use for...

Everything that's NOT on the roster.

Pythons, Diamondbacks and Trooper MK III and V

(you can tell I'm an old school revolver guy but you could make a great investment with these beauties)

If anyone else remembers the thread title, there was a thread a couple of weeks ago asking if the roster went away, what would be your next purchase. That will have all the input you would ever need.

Yes, but those would be at US market prices.

This is a chance to buy at US market prices and sell at California market prices.

I definitely have to relay these to my buddy. I only told him about AR pistol lowers and Wilsons.

Caspian & STI frames for 1911 pattern pistols.
