Why is it that the state of California will legalize marijuana, when the feds say it is illegal, yet when the feds say the american people can own the firearms that they REALLY want to own (loosely), the state of California says no? I'm moving to North Carolina! .... where I CAN keep AND bear arms!!! (or arm bears) LOL.:83:

They can't. Nothing CA can do can protect Californians from Federal cannabis laws. What has happened is the Federal government has decided, unilaterally, to not enforce cannabis laws in many (but not all) circumstances in California.
If the BATF decided that they would no longer deal with MG violations, then people could own them in permissive states, but it wouldn't mean that they are legal, and it could all change depending on the whims of the day.

It was never intended for the federal government to control things like marijuana. The federal gov has been overstepping their boundries for years. Responsibilities for Health and Wellness is the states responsibility not the feds.
