Does anyone know who has the best deal for transfer fee?
I need to have a CR handgun send from N Ca to LA area,
the couple dealer i know of locally charges close to 100 bucks
for the service, pretty steep for a three, four hundred dollars pistol!!
I am old enough to remember when the registration fee used to be 7 bucks or less!!! That was the 'GOOD O'DAYS'!!!

anywhere in la or n oc would be ok,
i don't mind driving a bit.
thanks, guys!!

Hard to find any reasonable price in LA. I think even Bain and Davis charge $100 ($75 dealer fee, $25 DROS).

Where are you in LA? I use OC Indoor Range (I also shoot there so...), their price is $75 ($50 fee, $25 DROS). And I believe there is another one in OC charge $60.

Good luck.

Funny name, good price

T&A Armory in Santa Ana. $40 + $20 DROS fee.
In general - FFL instate or out of state are same, unless I don't understand your question.

If you're talking person to person transfer, most places ANYWHERE are about $35...... If I'm wrong, somebody will be posting all over this.. :)

wow, thanks guys!!
great info and FAST!!
i will give straightline tactical an email and see.
that seems to be the most reasonable in price and distance,
Lancaster is probably a bit far for me.
by the way, does Straightline have a phone number as well?
thanks again , everyone!!!

I use Enterprise. They are great and they have a decreasing rate for each additional firearm. So buy a bunch!

well, i would love to buy 'a bunch' if budget allows,
but unfortunately, i am within the majority where
my limited 'spending money' won't allow me to go crazy.
i did had a shotgun send from out of state a long while back
to Enterprise, they were nice and professional,
but i think it cost close to a benjamin.
kind of steep for a 3-400 dollars handgun.

Strange, last time I used them recently for 2 firearms they charged me $45 for the first one and $25 for the second one.
