Yup, couple of employees at Turners West Covina were "relieved of their duties" after a couple of OLL transfers, I heard.

It's my understanding that an FFL must do private party transfers for the same types of guns that they sell.
So, if they sell only handguns, and bolt action rifles they can refuse to transfer semi-auto rifles, but if they sell semi auto rifles, they can't refuse to do PPT's on the same types of semi-auto rifles they sell.

If OLLs are legal, then why won't they do the PPT?
And if they're selling calif-legal rifles, then will they PPT one that is the same brand?

I understand that it's illegal for an FFL to refuse to PPT a legal firearm.

Firearms dealers are required to process private party transfers upon request. Firearms dealers may charge a fee not to exceed $10 per firearm for conducting a private party transfer. Example:

That's pretty darn ironic since they now carry all sorts of OLL black rifles.

Turners will always be second rate for me. Local shop that stuck their necks out for the OLL movement should be getting your business. The same guys that risked it all to make this possible. Turners can go to hell.

I was at Turners in San Berdoo yesterday and got a gun. I think I spent a total of 10 hours looking, and these guys had patience with me. Not so much at other places. Turner's does not carry everything but for what they do have I found something I liked.
