View Full Version : Finally able to bring home my new MPA 30

Took my MPA 30 home after the looooong waiting period. I cannot wait to shoot it and it looks like a pretty good quality pistol. I was looking through the paperwork and just realized it has a lifetime warranty. I already stripped, cleaned, and lubed it because it did not appear to have any lube at all and the slide felt stiff and hard to pull back. Im sure most people do a field strip before they shoot a new gun, but if you get one of these you just have to.

The Tapco mag it came with does not drop freely but the steel sten mag I tried will. I'm a little disappointed in the tapco mag and it doesn't seem to be the best quality so I'm going to work on getting more Sten rebuilds and converting them to hold 10.

I will post pics after I take it out to shoot this weekend! :43:

A new gun and no pics?! Wow, that's breaking some sort of rule. I'm happy for you though.

I just shot my MPA for the first time today and everything I have to say is pretty positive. I shot only 100 rounds using sten magazines. I have not used the Tapco mag yet. There were no jams and it was suprisingly accurate. For the hell of it, I rapid fired one magazine and that is when this baby rocks!:43:
