I just got off the phone with the team at Norse Armory and they confirmed that they got my RFB in I bought it off gun broker and had it shipped to them.

I知 starting my dross today. I think!??. I need to time it just right so when It hits rifle gear, I値l be able to pick it up..

They are going to keep it for a week or two to make up a BB setup for it as well as new custom brake for it too, as I need to add an extra 5+ to it..

I知 really looking forward to getting it..

Anyway that痴 all team, I知 sorry I don't actually have it in my hands yet but I will in a few weeks.. Here is what she look like now thou..

I do need to find a scope for her thou.. Something better than an ACOG but not a rifle style scope ie long!.. This guy at the range the other day had one scope I loved.. A littler bigger than the ACOG and round, supper clear glass, had adjustments lever on the bottom left side (it was the zoom) it went from 1.5-6x. It almost looked like a night vision scope. Big and round, it really was solid and I thought it was way better than my ACOG, huge shooting area, great eye relief... I don't know what it cost thou??.

Man.. I wish I could remember what scope that was.. L-can, Le-can, e-can something like that?? I goggled all of those but I didn稚 / couldn稚 find anything?

Anyway any suggestions on a scope for this rifle I知 really limited on the size but it a 308 so I want to be able to reach out to 400-600yards with it Or better yet does anyone know of a scope called something like L-Can it痴 something CAN??

Thanks for your time team and have a great one

Link.

Yep - that's probably the one. I didn't know they made them in the 1.5x-6x flavor - thought they were only 1x-4x.

Beautiful rifle, hard enough to find for the free states. Very cool

The scope you are talking about is the Elcan Specter DR .308 (http://swfa.com/Elcan-1x4x-SpecterDR-Optical-Sight-P7190.aspx). I have the 5.56mm version and it is an awesome "combat" optic. I wouldn't trade it for anything personally. But for that rifle you may be better of with something more conventianal. Just my $0.02. Here is the reticle for the .308 version, don't forget to check the link.

Yes the standard ones.. so I'm good to go there..

There's not to much posted information on them, so I don稚 know how it shoots but from what I've read it pretty good.

Sweet Jezus!!!

I thought these were still on the drawing boards. Loved it when I held one at the SHOT a few years ago. How are we getting them into CA? BB???

That is very, very cool looking, as bullpups go. I like it, alot.

One question, the carbine version is 26" OAL, what kind of muzzle extension are you adding to it?

well you can also do what I did.. go to gunbroker find them and then send the OP an extremely polite letter informing them that you'll gladly pay them $200 more than then their asking price if they would consider shipping it to Cali.. Of course you need to reinsure them that the gun is completely legal or it can be.. blaa, bllaa, blaa..

Grease the wheel, money talks and BS walks..

NA is in the process of fabbing up a BB for it now, so you'll just need to go thru them for that.. Then add a 5" 308 muzzle or have a costume brake made or stick on a fake can on the end and call it a day..

All in all when it's said and done I figure it will right around $2,500.00 not including a scope of course..

Good luck with that one..

Actually the muzzle was easy.. I actually had three different ways to go. I can have a standard 5" 308 muzzle installed, I can have a custom brake made up for it, of course it will add another $150-200 bucks to the bottom line, but if it helps in the recoil and accuracy department then its worth the upgrade IMO and or I could just have a fake can installed on it for $150.00.. I’m still working with them on these option, I’m probably know what I’m ultimately getting tomorrow after a few more questions on my part.. We’ll see how it all works out, the important thing is that there are options available to us and this rifle can be brought into Cali legally..

Well I got this rifle a few weeks ago so it really doesn’t count.. Hahaaa

I'm still getting SCAR I just don’t know if I'm getting the L or the H thou.. I'm kind of waiting for the H to come out first so I can try it before I pull the trigger on the SCAR... I honestly don’t know what I'm going to do with my ACR yet, but I do know I have a few other rifles that I can sell off that I’ve had for a while that I’m not really to attached too, that is if I need to??

You know out with the old in with the new.. ;)

God, I just saw and got to play with a friend's on Sunday.
My girlfriend looked through it and flicked the little switch to go from 1x to 4x and started yelling "Holy S**T!"

It's a really REALLY sweet optic.

have you looked at or better yet through a TA6X48?

at Botach, they're about $1600 for .308.

4's are ok. 6's are crazy awesome imho.
