I've been looking at this red dot from Docter:

The spec says that the parallax-free sighting distance is about 40 yards. Is it adjustable?

*It means that anything over 40 yards I need to carefully line up in the sight because looking at it from an angle will no longer be accurate?

This kind of sight usually isn't manually parallex adjustable. This you may have to call the manufacturer but typically they list the "within" parallex free distance. So it's parallex free from 40 yards and on.
