10th one for the season. Ive only pulled the trigger on 2, called in the rest for friends. Called this one for a buddy yesterday and he had a problem with his gun so I said screw it and shot it last second.

Ants and bees im really looking out for now. I think the ants might sense body heat or something. Cause ive sat down and not seen an ant then pretty soon im crawling with them. Killed a decent rattlesnake but couldnt retrieve him. Although fataly wounded he managed to get down a hole

I shot my first one today. It was incredibly fun. I can see how it would get addictive. Too bad the season is almost over.

Great job.Very nice. We had four jakes within 10 yards of us yesterday. We were hunting for hogs or we would have bagged them.

From reading all these posts, it seems that turkey hunting would be fun. Too bad I don't know any public areas or private land owners who would give me access to their land here in or around Monterey County. I have never hunted turkeys.

Still not sure I want to go but have a ton of things to do. Looks like the weather is going to be good.
