View Full Version : Could anyone here lobby to slip a new clause into AB1934?

Given the state legislature and the governor's track record on gun control I suspect AB1934 will eventually pass. I was wondering, however, if we could slip in a clause that would only ban UOC in city limits to minimize the damage, or maybe try to slip in a clause that would actually legalize LOC outside of city limits?

Any ideas if any of this would work?

Do we have any lobbyists here that would be able to talk to some state assembly members to make some changes to the proposed language of AB1934 to soften the blow?

And some live their whole lives thinking government has the capacity to stop being evil - without suffering severe criminal (and in some cases, death) penalties.

LOC is currently legal outside of city limits in areas where discharge of a firearm is not prohibited by law.

It is covered under PC 12031.

I LOC all the time around my neighborhood.

The OP's question/suggestion isn't a bad idea. Although I have no idea how to do that.

The bill will probably pass.

The reality is that this law will kill OC in most rural areas, including the BLM, National Forests, and National Parks, due to various shooting restrictions.
