If this comes with 8,000-10,000 rounds of ammo, I will take it. Unless you meant you put 8,000-10,000 rounds through it which is crazy.

Is this $2,000.00 for a rifle that was fired twice, with the 20 20 round mags, AND 8-10K factory ammo?

I am NOT thread crapping, but I don't understand what is for sale.

I'm pretty skeptical after reading his Itrader rating, especially the last one.

Gun was fired during two separate sessions. 40 rounds per session which makes it 80 rounds fired through rifle. I bought it new in 2002 and it has been siting in my heated safe.

I sold the gun to the 1st person who contacted me by cell phone. His call was before your response. I made a specific list from the time I received calls and e-mails to make the deal fair. Your comments regarding one guy with sour grapes is way out of line.

You ever stop to think that was when he may have finalized the deal? Maybe?

I thought about that, then I checked out his Itrader rating and it all came together.

Maybe you dont understan what he is saying, but you did NOT contact him first, someone else did and that person, who was the FIRST to contact him got the deal... the OP said nothing about "The first person to post an Ill take it, or pm" he said, First person to contact him, thats that...

I just can't wait to see if someone actually picked this deal up. I have a feeling if he gets a positive rating on this deal it will be from a brand new member with no itrader rating. If someone really got a good deal then kudos to them. I just have a feeling this was bogus from the start, therefore I had no expectations.

Ehh, we'll see. When I did contact him he stated that there were others ahead in line for it. But there was a problem with the ammo situation. 8,000-10,000 rounds turned into approx 1,500 due to 2 missing 50cal ammo boxes full of .308:rolleyes:. OP said he would drop the price accordingly and let interested parties know. So a $.20-.25 per round deal with a M1A for free. Turned out to be a $1250 rifle/mags and $750 in ammo if it was still priced the same at $.50 a round.

Please let us know lucky buyer if you got a steal of a deal or not.

I'm going to have to agree with POINTMANDDT on this one... the OP was up at like 1012 and he said I'll take it at 1022ish. In my mind that's a solid offer and one shouldn't have to call on a cell when no number was listed originally. I don't know where the 1335 came from, but It's BS. OP had I believe 3 I'll take it posts prior to that hour (me included).

This is total crap and isn't a good way to conduct business, as per the rules and INTENT of this forum.

:ban: I vote +1

to the OP, I think what you did is dishonest and wrong, but you're the one who has to look in the mirror, not I.

((moderators please don't think I'm crapping, but this is some :censored: up business going on))

I'll take it for $300. $1700 off for the missing ammo if I have my math correct.:confused:

Sounds to me like he may have had it listed on multiple sites. One of them possibly had his contact number on it. I doubt very much the "buyer" of this will ever come forward.

I'm gonna keep an eye on this post to see how it turns out.

IMHO if it was posted without a phone number then the deal should go to the first response, not the first "call". That to me would be cause for the "B" word.

1,500 rounds of factory ammo would be at least $.030/rd., no? That would make it about $450 minimum. But if he promised 8,000 to 10,000, then it would have been 5-7 times that much more. At the lowest estimate of $0.20/rd., it should have been $1,600 to $2,000 alone for the ammo... so the gun is almost free when you think about it.

Whatever... we'll see how it goes.

I was pricing his 1500 rounds at $.50 a round Big 5 sale price for Russian steel cased .308. Yeah his original price and description would have made it basically a free rifle, that's why I offered $300 to adjust the price according to his original asking price and current offering. ;)

Yeah, I was basing it on the cheapest of the cheapest prices online and that is conservative.

Thanks man I appreciate that. Unfortunately he broke no forum rules, but will be known on here as a shifty seller. I really think he was just trolling, but I could be wrong. I wish there were concrete rules about the “I’ll take it rule”. I always set it as first one to say they’ll take it via PM or post gets it.
