then I put the Selector detent in the wrong way, now it's stuck in the pistol grip. :(

Put the grip in the freezer, then in the morning slam the grip down on somthing hard and flat. pin should come out.;)

I did the same thing, it took a bit of jiggling and wiggling and it eventually worked its way out. Think Jell-O commercial.

Thanks for the help guys I'll give it a try. But it really looks wedged in there. Oh and it got worse kept on going just to see what my rifle would look like complete. Shot my buffer retainer and spring to who knows where :o

lots of lube and magnatize a paperclip to fish out the detent...

turn it upside down and spray into the hole with carb cleaner and it will come right out. (use the straw)

Well guys thanks for the help. But it's a lost cause. It was really jammed in their from being installed on the rifle. I was having such an easy time with the other pins people have trouble with :( :D . Nothing like paying $9 shipping on $10 worth of stuff. Oh well at least I have a .223 lower to mess up a LPK install on :D

you didn't specify which pistol grip you are using. If by chance you are using a Hogue, you can try putting the rubber pistol grip in hot water to expand it....but that might have the opposite effect and close the hole. :D Just putting it out there.
