Sutherland Turkey Tune Up

Anyone ever been?
I'm planning on going (it's Saturday, February 25th from 9:00 a.m.−2:00 p.m)

The flyer mentions range open a couple of times. Anybody know if this clays or a patterning board thing?

Also, what public ranges or open shooting areas are near?
Any other suggestions to do in the area?

I'm going to be going from there to camp in Descanso near Cuyamuca SP.
Any shooting areas or other activities near there?

There is an open shooting area near there, and some ranges in the general vicinity. The open area is on National Forest land, adventure pass required, available down the street if you don't have one. They close it when there's too much rain or snow; I don't know what the status will be next weekend. 4x4 very strongly urged.

I have a simple spring-loaded clay thrower and hand thrower, and I might go to the Tune-up. There are a LOT of turkeys at Lake Sutherland, as I found when I went duck hunting there. Not many ducks, though...:)
