I will be picking up the alpha model in about 8 days. I was wondering if there was any way to put the levang compensator on this model. I'm not sure if it is threaded like the CA model ?

thanks

The alpha barrel isn't threaded.

Is there a way to thread it ... or is the barrel too thin ?

There is a way though I havent seen the thread in a long time. You can ask on these forums:

You can do it... but it's going to cost you time and/or money. A gunsmith will do it for you, but for half the price of your gun. The other option is here:

Why didn't you get a CA model?

SWEET DEAL!

There are some (not Levang) compensators that attach with set-screws. If you remove the front sight and leave the knurled part, the screws should have the perfect surface to grab on to.
