Finally I have them!!!

Found the Savage Mark II TR on sale at Turners a few weeks back. Had to put it on layaway because i just purchased the 552 swat a couple days before but I couldn't pass it up. I put my SS 16x and harris on it. Still need to lighten up the trigger. I'll do a little write up on it after I shoot it this weekend.

The sig I ordered online and had shipped to my FFL. Couldn't find one local. I called Sig and gave them the manufacture date. They told me it already has the updated bolt assembly. I have yet to check. I put my eotech and streamlight on it for now. Not sure I like the trigger in it but we'll see how she shoots this weekend.

Here is a pic.

Nice to see another TR owner! Looks good with that SS scope. I had a chance to try some different ammo through mine, it definitely has a preference for Wolf Match 40gr. I also tried some Aguila Interceptor 40gr and Sniper SS 60gr rounds. Both of them shot like garbage at 100 yards. The Interceptors grouped at about 3" and the Sniper SS was lobbing them sideways into a group of about 8". For comparison, the Wolf Match was consistently grouping into about 3/4 moa or less at 100 yards.

How much did the TR run you at turners, if you don't mind?

I think it was 389+ tax and dros

so how easy are the TRs to shoot offhand? i've been contemplating one as a great addition to the safe, but almost every shot from a .22 has been offhand for the last year or more, and i expect that to be the case for a very long time in the future as well.
