I notice you can get 20-30 rd AR mags for around ten dollars, yet 10 rd mags(the mags we need) go for around 20.
Is there a way to do a bulk purchase to get the price down??

10 round magazines actually seem to take more work to make. Thus the slightly higher price, also the fact they are not made in as high production, also increaseing the price. Then add to the fact the high demand.

the best would have been if you bought the 10 rounders 1 month ago.

Another thing. you only need one magazine per rifle, it's extraneous to get 5 magazines for one lower. So any savings in the group buy isn't worth while. IMHO

Good luck. Bushmaster just bumped up their price to $20.95 a mag and they only give us FFLs a 10% discount. Also keep in consideration the demand out of California for these right now. Sadly enough, the market is what it is. I will keep my prices at $18 a mag until I run out (I have about 60 left), then when I buy more, my price will go up because I will have to pay more to get them.

I see that CPI is offering a ten rounder, Do you deal with them?
Perhaps they can offer you/us a deal?
Worth a try, Eh?
Thanks for your help, M.J.

C'mon boys, just pony up the $ and get them from Wes now, while his price on the current inventory is lower than what an FFL pays for them today.

Dealers get $10% off ($20.95 * 0.10 = $2.095), so on a GP you might save $1 off the $20.95, but that's more than Wes' price. So what are you waiting for?

:D

Wes, Please dont stop looking for a Deal for us.
Thanks again, Mitch J.

Armalite has aluminum 10 rounds made from 20 round mags for $16. They're basically the same deal as the bushie 10s but they're box mags instead of curved. They are also black.

We just ordered a bunch of them and got them in. We priced them at $24.95. We only stock things like this for convienience, and have to charge based on that, and the fact that you can place the order yourself through them, or off ebay, gunbroker, etc...

And that is why Xenophobe is probably a more successful gun dealer than me. I keep settting my prices low to take care of you guys instead of setting them where I make decent money. I will probably learn here soon with the amount of time I have been spending at the shop.

Give me a link for CPI. I am also probably going to order some Stags too.

http://www.bushmaster.com/shopping/m17s/30-425.asp Bushmaster offers steel 10 round mags for the same priced as their curved 10 rounders.

And, there's the 10 round polymer "waffle" mags offered by DPMS: http://www.dpmsinc.com/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=MA-PP

All I see on their website in aluminum is 5 and 30 rounders. The 10 rounders they say are steel.

Should have bought the Bushmaster mag for a couple of bucks more. Promag has the next worst reliability reputation next to USA.

Oh well, live and learn, its not like these things are going to be my go-to guns in an emergency without a way to safely reload. If/when things go our way, i'll be taking my 100, 30 and 20 rounders out of mothballs so it wont matter anyway.

C Products LLC will have 10 round magazines in stainless steel, chrome silicon spring, anti-tilt follower, CP ranger floor plate and black Mar-Lube finish. They will be ready to,be shipped in 3 - 4 weeks.
C Products, LLC

If mags become useable in CA they will be of 10 round limit.
That law is not likely to expire unless life as we know it ends.
If innovations such as Bu- Bye's and stock modifications
allow this platform to work sans pistol grip legally or when
these become full AW (debate there) then these mags
will be in demand of over 100 squared. 10%' s stock won't cover it.
