Depends on where you're fishing.

I go for the German Browns at higher elevations. I throw them back and eat all of the rainbows. I have noticed GB's picking up in numbers in recent years. I like to think I'm the reason for that.

My dad and I head up to Lower Twin (Bridgeport) every opening weekend. Then fish Crowley the following Monday/Tuesday. Can't wait!

Barabas - glad to hear someone else enjoys catching and releasing the browns. DFG rarely stocks them anymore and its nice to see them live long enough to get big and spawn.

Gull Lake in the June lake loop is where I go. Or Convict if I can find a spot.

I'll be in the Mammoth Lakes area in the next few weeks. Nothing better than Skiing and Fishing in the same day.

Shooting coyotes and fishing in the same day for me. Also of course camping.

I usually limit out by the time the sun rises over the mountains I'm surrounded by so the rest of the day is dedicated to beer slaying and story telling.
