Try a search at ar15.com.

I just searched for YHM Eotech Riser and got 5 threads, many pics.

Look in the Equipment Exchange.

Yes, if you are a paid member you get better search abilities.

The riser raises the Eotech 0.25 inches.

This really shouldn't be that hard for you to replicate with your setup, look through your optic, then imagine it a quarter of an inch higher, or loosen the Eotech and lift it up about a quarter of an inch if you need to actually see it.

Yes. I agree.

But if there exist a pic that some one know of, and have both the front, and the rear.... showing the effect of the 1/3 co-witness.... as well as the raised EOTech... that would be perfect....

Now that we have the internet, with the forum... and google... and all these technology with us.... we really should be able to "experience" it before we actually get it in.... heh hee.... maybe that takes away the fun.... ;)

I probably shouldn't do this, but here's a pic ripped from this thread on AR15.com: http://archive.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=250482

Pay for a membership. It supports a great website and there's TONS of information in the archive.

Hey JickoRicko,
I came to this post late so I'm sure you already got the info that you needed. Just for some additional context, I uploaded another pic of the YHM riser setup from a straight on angle.

So far, I've been really happy with this setup in that the irons aren't completely in your sight picture. For a while, I was feeling conflicted whether I should go with the YHM riser or the LaRue EOTech mount. The LaRue is actually much nicer and has QD capability. But, I think the YHM allows you to set the EOTech back a little closer to the BUIS instead of forward, like the LaRue.
Also, I think both systems have different rising heights. The LaRue raises the optic .275 inches while the YHM raises the optic .300.
Hope this helps dude.
