We invite any Orange county shooters to join us on these events. We currenty do 1 basic and 1 adv COF a month. If we get more shooters, I can schedule more.

Where is it?
When is it?
What's the cost to participate?
How many courses of fire?
Estimated round count?
Scoring method?
Average number of participants?

1. Evans Gunshop/Range - Orange
2. Varies - I try to do 1 basic and 1 adv COF a month. More if needed
3. $30.00
4. 75-100 (Depending on how many shooters and how fast you guys tape the targets
5. Not rocket science, basic range scorin... rounds-time-pen
6. Basic gets full, 6-8 shooters. Advanced, I had 5 lastnight and thats typical.
Hope that helps.

When the match is held is variable? Is there a "normal" day and time?
Total match round count is 75-100 rounds. You do rearrainge the stage(s) several times during the event, right?
Scoring is what now? IPSC type, IDPA type? A zones are solid hits, but are the others (B,C,D) minus points or minus time?
not trying to complain but:
$30? That seems a little steep. For the same price one could shoot IPSC in Norco every Saturday and get 6 stages with 175+ round count and much more movement and 180* of target engagement instead of all stright ahead. Prado Weds night is $20 I think, usually 4 handgun and 2 shotgun stages. I think Insight is $15 or $20 for mid week IPSC-light. $20 might make it more popular and generate more revenue overall.

I have to fight with the local PD's for range time. I try to plan out at leaast 2 months in advanced.
Depending on how many shooters, we get 4-5 rounds in. Targets are moved every stage. I guess you could say the scoring is more IDPA than IPSC, A hits only for the advanced guys.
The 30 bones covers the range fees!!! Any extra goes back into the club. Targets, wood, and extra do hickies to shoot at.
Many of my shooters can not go to Insite or Prado after work. Just not enough time to get there. We work about 10 min away form Evans, so thats why we shoot there. Hell, I wish I could get out to shoot at Prado!
