I went to a spot near my house and smashed a few this afternoon. Once I dropped the first one it was game on and I ended up shooting 6 and recovering these 4

I all took about 20 minutes.

Thanks for looking, Ron

Nice. What did you use for the deed? I dropped a few last weekend with 20cal pellets. It gets dicey in the burbs when a dozen or so come to the aid of there buddy and start crow'n, making it real hard to not attract unwanted attention. -g

This is the flock of about a thousand that leaves and flys back to their roosts each evening over my house. Maybe more than a thousand.

22cal pellets from my RWS model 48. It's just far enough from houses to be OK.

nice job Ron!

Yeah...I'd eat em if they are from the country. City crows are just like city pidgeons...eating garbage. Country crows and pidgeons....good eatin'!

The country crows I have shot and eaten eat fly larvae from egg ranches. Still taste alright - kinda like tough beef.

Or you can just do what I do and raise your own pigeons. :)

Good job!
Wish I could shoot them here in the city. I keep getting awaken early in the morning by these freaking birds....they love starting noisy fights on the powerline at first light....grrr...I hate them!

I shot way too many crows when I was a kid. And those who have... know that you can't shoot just one! :43:
