No meat lost, unless you're into 'sweetbreads'

I think it safe to say you dropped that! How did you manage a head shot? Was it moving and you lead it too much?

Unlike 99.9999999% of antelope that run immediately, for some reason this gal was curious an just stood there staring at me for a couple of minutes, so I took the head shot. Had 3 tags, all got filled.

I would say mount european style... :) Would make a interesting conversation piece for sure. What caliber did that...? Most would tear a head up for sure just curious.

7mm Rem Mag.

I brought a 243 Win as well but the wind kept gusting on/off throughout the days so I went with the heavier if the two calibers.

The hunting was done in Wyoming. We live in Sonoma County.

If I was half-way sane I'd move my family Wyoming. We were close to buying a house in Casper when I got what my boss referred to as a "promotion".

I have a .300 Ultra Mag. Gotta love those big bore rifles. Nasty damage they do huh? :cool2:
