Hi Scott... I have read some rave reviews about your knowledge and service and I hope you can help me also... I would like to mount a scope on a Winchester Model 77 .22 that I have had since the 60s.. my use will be simple target practice and small animal control.. I would think the range would be under 50 yards. Do you have something I can use? thanks

I'm assuming a 3/8" dovetail. I like to use a weaver adaptor for these

BSQ17025
Description: B-Square ADAPTER 3/8IN TO WEAVER STYLE 2PC

Precision Airgun 3/8" to Weaver Adapter, 2-piece, BL

for $25

Then I like Lupy PRW rings for about $50. I know it's an old .22 but a solid stable mounting platform will ensure years of trouble free operation.

Then add a Vortex Diamondback 1.75-5x or 2-7x scope for well under $200 and call it done!
