When I got stationed here (US Navy) I had my brother baby sit my PLR-16, because it was not legal here.
Now I miss my baby.
Question: If I install a bullet button and fly it in commercial airlines will it be legal?
Keep in mind many PLR-16's are for sale on this sight.
I've heard I have to make it a single shot, how do I do that?

Thank you for your time

I'm not sure about flying it in via commercial airlines, you may have to actually ship it to an FFL here (but not sure on that one.)

Other than that, make sure your FFL will receive a "roster exempt," single-shot pistol, install a bullet button and zero-shot mag before shipping.

For the zero-shot mag you can either buy a Bob Sled (http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=45003/pid=20660/sku/OBS20_Bob_Sled?utm_medium=shoppingengine&utm_source=googlebase&mc_id=10000&cvsfa=2345&cvsfe=2&cvsfhu=3130303030313733372d3130303030313733362d343 53536) or you can weld the follower on any AR mag at the top, so no rounds can be inserted - then you're good to go!

If it's "yours" you can fly it in. You need a bullet button and a 10 round or less mag. Perfectly legal. Don't forget to file the "Personal Handgun Importer" form with DOJ.
