Barska Ruger 10-22 Muzzle Brake (long) [$20-Amazon]
GI M1/M14 Sling [$12-eBay]

4 extra Marlin magazines [$60-Midwest Hunters Outlet]
Ace Case Bullet Band (stitching removed to enable holding 5 magazines) [$5-local gunshow]

Hoping to try may hand at an Appleseed this year. I don't think it's too shabby for $280 total. (gun & accessories)

3-color camo paint job is much darker/greener than what comes across in these cellphone pics taken in direct sunlight.

I like it

which muzzle brake did you use? The ones that I found on amazon look different from yours (http://www.amazon.com/BARSKA-RUGER-10-22-Muzzle-Brake/dp/B001M5TRH4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1269107970&sr=8-1-catcorr) Did it require any modifications for it to fit?

EDIT: is this the one you used? http://www.amazon.com/NcStar-MUZZLE-BREAK-BLACK-AM1022BL/dp/B001OLVI50/ref=pd_sbs_sg_1

Your first link is the one I got in the "long" size. The second link looks very similar except for the little notch(s) in back where it would be around the front sight. I'd say it would be the same either way.

As for modification, I did have to file open the notch for the OEM front sight ever so slightly. I had to open it up just a little more when I got the Tech-sight. Barrel size is the same so not mod was needed for that.

My only recommendation (as I read on other boards) would be to not use the supplied allen wrench to tighten the set screw as it's size is slightly off and can strip out the screw. Use a good one for your final tightening.
